I got back from India just two days ago. Meaning I just warped from 30 degree climate, to a horrifying 5 degree environment.
Its freezing!
Spending Christmas with family and all the talking I did about my travels, unpacking, finishing up laundry and tidy-ing up my room---the fatigue from traveling on cars and airplane and trains...
my daily cycle is definitely not quite stable yet.
This means my body needs time to just chill out and get adapted.
I woke up with a sore throat.
So, immediately I turned to my Ayurvedic remedies and whipped up some "turmeric milk" to start my breakfast.
Recipe:
one cup of fresh cow's milk
two teaspoons of turmeric powder
1. heat in pan and wait for it to boil
2. turn the heat off pour into your favorite cup
The yellow color and the rich milk makes it look like some creamy soup. And is quite warming and tasty.
Turmeric is used for numerous remedies of various disorders,
including skin disease (enhance skin complexion!), detoxify the liver, balance cholestral levels, fight allergies, stimulate digestion, and boost immunity.
